As discussed, it was observed that PP has applied for NOC in the year,2013 and application was returned due to some shortcoming. Now the PP has applied for obtaining fresh CTO of the board under Water Act,1974.The proposed site is situated outside the MC limit and falls in residential zone as per approved master plan of Sangrur. There is no air polluting unit is situated within 100 mtr of the site. Hence the site is suitable as per Govt notification dated 2009.The total land area of the project is about 9.89 acre having 101 residential plots. The project is area development project and is not covered under the ambit of EIA notification dated 14.9.2006.
The ownership of all the three project has been registered under registrar of companies and (MoA) in the name of Grewal Construction Company Ltd. Therefore, there is no need to execute an agreement amongst the colonies to treat the domestic/ waste water in the common STP. Further the PP has commonly developed 6.2 acre land for the disposal of treated effluent, which is adequate.
If approved, it is recommended that CTO under Water Act,1974 be granted upto 31.12.2030 with suitable conditions.
