Sir, pointwise reply of the observation raised by the competent authority is as under:
1. The industry is covered under the ambit of first schedule of Factories Act, 1948 but it has not obtained SAC.
2. The industry falls under Red category of industry as per new categorization prescribed by CPCB.
3. The industry has started maintaining record regarding consumption of fresh water and treated trade effluent.
4. There is no source of air pollution inside the industry.
As the industry has failed to obtained SAC clearance, it is therefore recommended that Show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with an opportunity of personal hearing, please
