The industry was inspected by EPS-2 in compliance with the directions of the competent authority. The detailed inspection report, along with specific observations and recommendations, is enclosed.
On the basis of the findings recorded in the said report, it is observed that the industry is complying with the prescribed standards with respect to stack emissions and wastewater discharge. However, certain violations, as detailed in the inspection report, require due consideration and corrective action. In view of the above, it is recommended that the industry be afforded an opportunity of personal hearing before the Worthy Chairperson of the Board for appropriate decision in the matter. |
