It is submitted that industry is a small scale/ orange category unit. Earlier, the industry was issued directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 dated 09.09.2022 for disconnection of the supply of electricity available to the industry. On the compliance of the previous violations, the electric connection of the industry was temporarily restored on 22.05.2023 for 6 months i.e. upto 21.11.2023 and the industry was granted consent to operate upto 21.11.2023. Thereafter, the industry obtained the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 both were expired on 31.03.2025 through auto renewal mode, which were revoked as action u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 was pending against the industry. Hence, the industry was requested to apply for consent to operate vide letter No. 2022 Dated 23.08.2024 and 2250 dated 19.09.2024. The PSPCL authorities were also requested to disconnect the electric connection available to the industry/ premises (which was temporarily restored for six months i.e. upto 21.11.2023) immediately and to send the copy of TDCO to the Board vide letter No. 2560-64 dated 16.10.2024. Thereafter, the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 both were expired on 19/09/2025.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry was visited by RO on 05.12.2025 and found it complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of the above, may if approved: -
1. Consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2028. (Competency - SEE)
2. Electric connection of the industry may be restored permanently (Competency - CEE)
