Sir, it is submitted that the HCF has submitted the Sewerage charges demand bill dated 23.10.2025 issued by the MC as proof of sewerage connection. The MC is having terminal STP for treatment of sewerage of the city.
Further, vide Boards office order no. 601 dated 16.12.2021 it has been decided that the HCFs upto 50 beds capacity which are discharging their liquid waste into public sewer and operating within MC limits of towns, where, terminal sewerage treatment plants has been installed, shall be granted consents/authorizations by Punjab Pollution Control Board without installation of individual ETPs, as an interim arrangement/ measure subject to the condition that the HCFs shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified under Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 amended upto date and subsequent amendments if any.
