It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under orange category (2100-Light Engineering & Fabrication units with spray painting) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2021/15383278 dated 18.04.2021 valid upto 30.09.2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2021/15383242 dated 18.04.2021 valid upto 30.09.2022 for manufacturing of Tipper Body @ 1 Numbers/Day by using MS Sheet, Angle & Channel @ 0.7 T/day, subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under green category (125. Spray Painting, Paint baking, Paint shipping) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Tipper Body @ 1 Numbers/Day by using MS Sheet, Angle & Channel @ 0.7 T/day, alongwith requisite documents.
The industry has deposited Rs. 32400/- vide UTR. No. 0826I7461094051 dated 26.08.2024 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 32400/- vide UTR. No. 0828I7461535671 dated 28.08.2024 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2032 after adjusting late fee/ penalty against the total cost of the industry Rs. 56.75 lacs.
The industry has submitted compliance report of conditions of the earlier granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The industry has submitted manufacturing flow chart and the same is as under:

The industry was visited by the undersigned on 22.12.2025. During the visit, it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation and is engaged in the process of manufacturing of Tipper Body.
2. The industry has installed 1 no. paint booth in the painting section which is provided with inbuilt APCD and stack of adequate height.
3. The industry is not generating any trade effluent. The domestic effluent generated by the industry is discharged into PSIEC sewer.
The industry is complying with the provision of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
In view of the above, it is recommended that varied CTO under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2030, subject to suitable condition and following additional conditions that:
1. The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premise, which can change the category of unit from Green to Orange/Red, without prior permission from PPCB.
2. The industry shall not exceed the production beyond the capacity mentioned in this consent letter, without prior permission of the Board.
3. The project proponent shall not discharge any effluent at any unauthorized place by any unauthorized means i.e. shall not discharge any wastewater in any drain/inland surface waters/drain/choe/nallah/onto land for stagnation or outside its premises, at any time, under any circumstances.
4. The industry shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time.
