It is submitted that the industry is a small-scale orange (102.3 Forging of ferrous and non - ferrous metals using electricity) category unit.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Scaffolding Fittings & Agriculture Parts @ 20000 N/Day.
The industry has deposited Rs. 151200/- vide Receipt No. 234341863 dated 21.11.2025 and Rs. 7200/- vide R.no. 36496197 dated 22.12.2025 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 162000 /- vide Receipt No. 232723780 dated 21.11.2025 and Rs. 7200/- vide R.no. 300548172 dated 22.12.2025 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 13.10.2026 against gross value of fixed assets Rs. 320.41 Lacs and Plant & Machinery of Rs. 271.24 Lacs as per CA certificate dated 12.11.2025.
To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the officer of this office on 29.12.2025 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit and engaged in manufacturing of Scaffolding Fittings & Agriculture Parts.
2. The industry has installed electrically operated 03 no. hammer, 03 no. pre-heating furnace and 10 no. power press.
3. The industry has also installed 03 shot blast machine with inbuilt bag filter as APCD.
4. There is no generation of trade effluent by the industry.
5. The industry has provided 03 no. cooling tower. The cooling water is re-circulated and domestic water is discharged into sewer.
6. The industry has also submitted land used classification certificate from DTP, Ludhiana issued vide memo no. 2668 DTP(L)/M2A dated 03.10.2025 stating that the site of the industry falls in industrial Land use Zone as per approved Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-2031), As such the site is suitable for establishment of such industries.
7. The industry has submitted electricity bill as a proof of date of commissioning i.e. 13.02.2019.
8. The industry has submitted layout plan approved by the Competent person.
9. The industry also has one DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
As such the industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
Keeping the above in view, it is recommended the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30.09.2026 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
