RO has reported that the project proponent has applied for obtaining Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, under Green Category through OCMMS with required documents for School with Students Strength @ 650 Numbers/Day.
1. The project proponent has submitted CA Certificate dated 19.11.2025 which it is gross value of fixed assets of Rs. 177.31 Lakhs as on 31.03.2025. Accordingly, it has deposited Rs. 108000/- vide UTR No. UTIBN62025113062804220 dated 30.11.2025 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 44800/- vide UTR No. UTIBN62025113062792904 dated 30.11.2025 as penalty under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 500/- vide UTR No. UTIBN62025113062251570 dated 30.11.2025 as application form fee, Rs. 108000/- vide UTR No. UTIBN62025113062801728 dated 30.11.2025, Rs. 44800/- vide UTR No. UTIBN62025113062796076 dated 30.11.2025 and Rs. 6400/- vide UTR No. UTIBN62025113062783817 dated 30.11.2025, which it is adequate upto 31/12/2035 under both Acts. 2. The project proponent has submitted building plan approved by Chief Town Planner, Chandigarh vide no. 3619 dated 27.06.2019. 3. The project proponent has provided septic tank for the domestic effluent discharged into onto land for plantation. The site was visited on 24.12.2025 and it was observed as under: - 1. The school was not in operation due to winter vacation. 2. The project proponent has provided a septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent, which is discharged onto land for plantation. The project proponent has also provided 2.5 acre land for plantation including playground and along the boundary wall of the premises. 3. Composting/horticulture pits have been provided for segregation and treatment of municipal solid waste and horticultural waste generated from the premises. 4. The project has installed 01 no. D.G set of capacity 50 KVA which was fitted with canopy and adequate stack height. The site is Building Construction and Area Development Project falls in total project cost below 10 Crores.
RO has recommended that the consent to operate under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit under green Category up to 31/12/2035 with usual terms and conditions.
In view of the above, may if approved, the consent to operate under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit under green Category up to 31/12/2035 with usual terms and conditions along with special conditions as under:
1. The school will ensure to install STP, if it generates effluent more than 20 KLD.
2. The project proponent shall maintain records of fresh water consumption.
3. The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid waste as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.
