The industry was earlier issued notice under section 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and 31-A of the Air Act, 1981, along with an opportunity of person hearing before CEE(P) on 15.07.2025. • RO has now reported that As per decision no. 2 of the personal hearing decision on 11.09.2024, the unit has submitted bank guarantee amounting to Rs. 25,000/- vide bearing no. 5045325BG0B00047 dated 19.07.2025 which is valid upto 19.07.2026. • Further, as per decision no. 1 of the personal hearing, the industry has applied ‘consent to operate’ of the Board under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. • RO has motioned that the industry was found complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as well as decision of personal hearing. In view of above and note/report sent by EE, RO, Patiala, if approved fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2026 subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as imposed by RO.
