The project proponent has applied under “GREEN” category of project.. However, the same is not correct…
In this regard, it is submitted that as per the earlier categorization of industries by CPCB, “Industrial parks/estates/complexes”, were categorized under “RED” category. However, in the latest categorization as per CPCB, “Industrial parks/estates/complexes” have not been mentioned in any category…
But, considering the pollution potential from such industrial parks/estates, these projects should be covered under RED category only…
Thus, till the time such projects are categorized by CPCB under relevant categorization, the project proponent is required to apply under “miscellaneous RED” category…
In view of above, if approved, the application of the project proponent may be returned online and regional office may be asked to guide the project proper to apply under “RED miscellaneous” category, please
