It is submitted that the project proponent has applied fresh Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Gasket of fridge @ 1200 No./day under small scale and white category along with requisite documents.
The project proponent has submitted CA certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 190.46 crore. As per policy of the Board no consent fee has been imposed for White Category project.
The project proponent has submitted authorized signatory certificate as per which shri Aneesh Khurana Managing Director is authorized to sign, file and submit necessary/ statutory forms, returns and other documents.
The project proponent has submitted allotment letter issued by PSIEC vide no. 13665 dated 23.12.2009 for manufacturing of metal sheet in the name of Sh. Sabinder Kaur, Sh. Jagroop Singh, Dr. Parminder Singh Mahal and Dr. Narinderjit Singh Mahal. The project proponent has submitted rent agreement executed on 29.07.2024 between Sh. Jagroop Singh and M/s Paramount Polymers Pvt.Ltd. which is adequate till 31.07.2029.
The project proponent has submitted approved building plan from the competent person under Factory Act.
The site was visited by the officer of the Board on 17.12.2025 and during visit it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry is engaged in manufacturing gaskets from plastic granules.
3. The industry has installed 2 extrusion machines out of which one was operational.
4. No trade effluent is being generated from the process. The water was used as coolant purpose only.
5. No DG set is installed.
In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted till 31.07.2029 with suitable and additional conditions:
1. The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premise, which can change the category of unit from White to Green/Orange/Red, without prior permission from PPCB.
2. The industry shall not discharge any effluent at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means.
3. The industry shall not generate any trade effluent in its premises.
4. The industry shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time.
