The report submitted by the regional office may kindly be perused,It is briefly submitted that the unit is a small-scale orange category unit. it was issued directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and directions were also issued to PSPCL for disconnection of the electricity connection of the restaurant vide letter no. 1084-85 dated 13.06.2024 as the restaurant was found non- complying with the provisions of the water Act, 1974. The restaurant was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/JAL2/2024/25944043 dated 22/07/2024 valid upto 21/01/2025 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/JAL2/2024/25944013 dated 22/07/2024 valid upto 21/01/2025 and directions issued to PSPCL authorities for temporary restoration for electricity connection of the unit upto 21.01.2025, after deposition of bank guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- by the restaurant to the Board as assurance for grant of consent and restoration of the electric connection. Thereafter, Last two effluent samples collected by the Board on 15.01.2025 and 26.11.2025 have been found within the limit. As per OM issued by PPCB vide no. SEE(HQ-2)F.no.441/2025/428 dated 23.09.2025, in case, first 2 no. samples meet with the prescribed permissible limits, then there is no need to collect third sample and Bank Guarantee be retuned and/or permanent restoration of electric connection be allowed. May if approved the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2029. (Competency- Senior Environmental Engineer). 2. The Restaurant is now complying with provision of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and BG of Rs. 50,000/- may be returned. (Competency- Chief Environmental Engineer). 3. The Restaurant is now complying with provision of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and electric connection may be permanently restored.
