The industry has submitted the feasibility reports of its purposed thermopac of capacity 2000 U and boiler of capacity 6 TPH with individual multicyclone and individual double stage water scrubber as APCD with common stack. The rice husk/agro waste will be used as fuel. The feasibility report submitted by the Project proponent are principally adequate and Project proponent has assured to achieve the revised emissions standards.
In view of above, it is recommended that CTE for expansion only for finishing of fabrics @ 11 T/day without any addition in wet process may be granted to the industry for the period of one year subject to suitable conditions along with following special conditions: 1. The industry shall not commission its new boiler/thermopac without obtaining prior CTO from the Board. 2. The industry will provide a covered area for fuel and ash storage so as to avoid the wetting of fuel and its spreading in the atmosphere. 3. The industry shall not use any unauthorized fuel and shall use only those fuels for which it has been proposed in CTE. 4. The industry shall not increase discharge beyond for which consent has been granted. 5. The industry shall install the Air Pollution Control Device for achieving the revised emission standards as well as the SOPs as prescribed by the MoEF & CC, Govt. of India vide notification dated 16.05.2023 . 6. The industry shall ensure that CCTV camera having facing toward chimney, fuel feeding points and fuel storage area with memory backup of atleast 30 days. 7. The CCTV camera shall be monitored regularly by the owner/responsible person of the industry through online mechanism.
