Sir,
It is submitted that the industry was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar on 12.12.2025 wherein, it was decided as under:
1. "The Regional Office shall verify the contentions made by the industry and process the consent application on merit."
The unit was already visited on 26.12.2025 and observed that:-
1. The industry was in operation during the time of visit.
2. The industry has installed electroplating section (nickel and chrome) and engaged in the process of manufacturing of Scaffolding parts.
3. The industry has installed water meter at fresh water supply which was in operational during the visit.
4. The industry has maintained the record of fresh water consumption and wastewater generation from the process.
5. The industry has made an agreement with JBR Technology Ltd Ludhiana, for disposal of its trade effluent @ 12000 ltrs/month.
6. The industry has provided one underground cemented storage tank of capacity @ 3000 ltr and 2 nos. underground plastic tank of capacity 1000 lts. each for the storage of its trade effluent.
7. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
8. As such the unit is complying with the decisions of personal hearing and complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2030 with the usual conditions as per the policy of the Board.
