Kindly peruse the submission of EE, ZO. On perusal of the said note, it is submitted that the industry has applied for grant of varied Consent to Operate under the Air Act,1981. The unit was inspected by the Regional Office on 24.12.2025 and was found to be complying with the provisions of the Air Act, 1981 at the time of inspection. The site of the industry falls in Industrial Zone as per Master Plan, Ludhiana. . The industry has also submitted a building plan prepared by an approved architect and duly approved by the Director of Factories, Punjab.
In view of the above, it is recommended that: -
1. Environmental Compensation of Rs. 1.00 lakh may be imposed upon the industry, being a small-scale unit, as approved by the Competent Authority in the case of M/s Kalsi Sons Fabricators.
2. Varied consent to Operate under the Air Act,1981 may be granted for the period up to 30.06.2028, subject to adequacy of the prescribed fee.
3. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited may be directed to permanently restore the electricity connection of the industry and in accordance with Office Memorandum No. 428 dated 23.09.2025.
4. The Regional Office may be permitted to de-seal the machinery of the unit.
