The reply of the observations is as under:
1. RO has mentioned that the project proponent has proposed to provide septic tank for domestic effluent to be generated from the project. However, the said proposal is not in consonance with the Board’s office order no. 315 dated 05.07.2018. Thus, the suitability of site for setting up of the project cannot be adjudged.
Reply: It is submitted that the industry has applied under the green category and the project proponent has mentioned in the application form the wastewater will be discharged through septic tank into MC sewer; however, the pp has submitted the layout plan and has mentioned, the pp will install STP to discharged the wastewater. And the same is not inconsonance. As such, the application of the project proponent is required to be returned, because in the green category application form editing cannot be possible.
2. RO has not commented upon the distance of the proposed site of the project from various setting parameters as per the notification dated 25.07.2007 & 30.10.2009, as observed during the site visit.
Reply: The site is more than 500 meters from Village Phirni/Lal Lakir/School/ Historical Gurudwara/Temple/Zoo/Protected Monuments; however, 15 residential houses of suncity colony are covered near west side of the site. As such, the general guidelines are applicable in this unit and the industry is meeting with the siting criteria. The unit is not covered under EIA Notification, dated 14.09.2006 and the project proponent is complying with conditions of "Consent to Establish"(NOC) granted to it.
3. RO has not submitted population calculations vis-à-vis wastewater generation & disposal arrangements, details alongwith the agenda note.
Reply: The industry has not submitted population calculations vis-à-vis wastewater generation & disposal arrangements, details in the project report.
As such, the application of the project proponent is required to be returned with the request to reapply the same after incorporation of the observations raised by the Board, please
