The project proponent has proposed to replace the existing boiler of 4 TPH capacity with a new boiler of 6 TPH capacity and a thermopack
of capacity 2000U with separate cyclone separator and dual stage alkali scrubber...As per note the site falls in industrial area...Recommended that CTE for expansion only for finishing of fabrics @ 11 T/day without any addition in wet process may be granted to the industry for a period of one year subject to suitable conditions along with following special conditions: 1. The industry will uninstall the earlier installed boiler of 4 TPH steam generation after installation of new boiler/thermopack . 2. The industry shall provide a covered area for fuel and ash storage so as to avoid the wetting of fuel and its spreading in the atmosphere. 3. The industry shall not use any unauthorized fuel and shall use only those fuels for which it has been proposed in CTE. 4. The industry shall not increase discharge beyond for which consent has been granted. 5. The industry shall achieve the standards as mandated by the MoEF & CC, Govt. of India vide notification dated 16.05.2023 . 6. The industry shall install CCTV camera having face towards chimney, fuel feeding points and fuel storage area with memory backup of atleast 30 days. 7. The CCTV camera shall be monitored regularly by the owner/responsible person of the industry through online mechanism. Competency: SEE |
