Sir, during the visit it was found that the industry has installed 3 electric boiler which was in operation during the visit. But the applicant erroneously mentioned diesel boiler which was already dismantled by the industry. The industry has submitted approved building plan by the Competent person of the Director of factories. The industry has installed ETP of capacity 12 KLD and its components are as below:
Collection tank – Floculator – Flash Mixer – Primary Clarifier – Fluidised Aerogate by reactor – Bioreactor – Secondary Clarifier – Collection sump – Sand Filter – Carbon Filter – Disposed off into sewer. As the industry has installed only electric boilers. However no stack is required.
In view of the above it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for short term period i.e. for six months with suitable terms and condition and special condition that the industry shall got its effluent sample analysed within 60 days. |
