No. 944761037 dated 26.12.2025 Fee deposited under the Air Act, 1981 Rs. 54,500/- vide online R. No. 55114572 dated 26.12.2025 Rs. 8400/- vide online R. No. 654474000 dated 31.12.2025 Adequacy under the both Acts 31.03.2032 after adjusting Rs. 8400/- as NOC regularization fee as per office order dated 29.10.2018. Site Suitability: The total land area measuring in an area 4 kanal 8-24/30 marla has been taken on lease by the project proponent and the lease agreement is valid upto 30.06.2028. Moreover, the PP has submitted land use pattern obtained from Deptt. of Town and Country, Planning, Punjab vide its letter no. 789 dated 11.05.2012, mentioning that said land having khasra no. 44/6/1 and 15/2/2/1, measuring 4 kanal 8-24/30 marla falls industrial zone as per Master Plan of Rajpura. PWRDA Permission: The industry has mentioned ground water extraction @ 1.5 KLD. Considering 30 working days in a month, the ground water extraction becomes 45 KL/month. Therefore, the industry is not required to obtain permission for abstraction of ground water from PWRDA. Visit: To verify the contents of the application, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 02.01.2026 and Sh. Chandra Mohan Harbola, GM Production was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under: 1. The industry was in operation. 2. The industry has installed 1 no. thermic fluid heater of capacity 600000 Kcal/Hour, which is equipped with cyclone separator followed by stack of adequate height as APCD. The industry is using Wood as fuel in thermic fluid heater. 3. The industry is disposing off its boiler ash into the surrounding low lying agriculture area. 4. The industry has provided dust collector at various dust emitting points such as grain separator, classifier, grinding section, mixing section and packing section. 5. The industry has also 2 no. heaters to remove moisture from the grains before mixing. 6. The industry has installed one no. D.G. set of capacity 500 KVA, which is equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height. 7. The industry has installed 01 no. submersible pump for abstraction of fresh water and it has provided water meter on it. 8. No water is used in the process, so no trade effluent is being generated. 9. The domestic effluent generated from premises is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tanks. From above, it is clear that the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Recommendations: In view of the facts mentioned above, if approved, it is recommended that the varied consent to operate under provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Supplement ary nutrition food @ 250 MTD may be granted upto 30.09.2030 subject to the general conditions and additional conditions as under: 1. The industry shall carry out the stack emission sampling from Board’s lab within 01 month. 2. The industry shall apply for obtaining authorization under Hazardous Waste Management Rules, 2016 within 15 days. 3. The industry will operate & maintain its air pollution control device (APCD), regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the stack emission standards, consistently as prescribed by the Board/ MoEF&CC as amended from time to time. 4. The industry shall ensure that no black smoke should be emitted from the stack of the industry at any time. 5. The industry shall obtain NOC of the Board, if it changes any of its product or raw material or enhances its production capacity in future. 6. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent and shall not start wet process in its premises without prior written permission of the Board. 7. The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic. 8. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. 9. The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. 10. The industry shall ensure that there is no public nuisance in the area, due to activities of the industry. Competency- SEE
