It is submitted that the point wise reply is as under:
1. The mall is having approximately 30-40 shops and 3-4 food courts.
2. Yes, the domestic effluent generation is inconsonance with population.
3. The sampling could not be carried out due to low discharge coming out at the outlet of STP and same will be collected within 3 months.
4. Solid waste is being segregated at source and same is being lifted by Municipal Corporation, Patiala and also the mall has provided compost pits for treatment of wet waste and made an agreement with vender M/s Mukeem Shah Scraps Store, Rishi Colony, Patiala for collection of plastic, multilayered plastic and paper waste.
The bulk waste generator charges are being collected by MC, Patiala from the Mall.
