Discussed. It is further submitted that the industry was given personal hearing before CEE, Ludhiana on 10.11.2025, wherein it has been decided that:-
1. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-2, Ludhiana shall visit the industry to verify the contentions of the industry as well as compliance of conditions imposed in the Environmental Clearance (EC) granted to it and shall submit its report alongwith recommendations to decide the consent case as per protocol of the Board, within 03 days.
2. Further, action in the matter shall be taken after receipt of report from Regional Office-2, Ludhiana.
Thereafter, the industry was visited officer of the Board on 17.11.2025 and it was observed that the industry has completed the plantation in the earmarked area of 9243.78 sq metre thereby completing plantation in 100 percent of greenbelt belt area and the compliance report of EC conditions is attached herewith. Further, the industry has submitted correspondence dated 12.11.2025 (copy attached) with Executive Director, PSCST, Chandigarh regarding vetting of the Design of fume extraction system for control of secondary emissions being generated from the induction furnace of Capacity 8TPH already installed and 15 TPH is yet to be commissioned. The industry has made Advance payment amounting to Rs 5 lacs to the vendor M/s JMS Enviro care and innovative centre, Baddi , Distt. Solan, H.P. for installation of Secondary fume extraction system of Roof Top Containment system which is more than 10 % of the total cost. The rooftop fume extraction system is under consideration of PSCST, Chandigarh for vetting of the same. Sh Ranjit Singh is going to visit the unit on 07.01.2026. Further it has submitted pert chart outlining timeline for installation and commissioning of the same. Considering the compliance made. The site of the industry falls in Industrial Zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana (2007-2021) as per DTP, Ludhiana letter no. 1545 dated 04.05.2011 already obtained by the industry.
In view of above, may if approved:-
1. Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2030 with suitable conditions.
2. Consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2026 with special condition that the industry shall install and commission its Secondary Emissions Control System before 30.9.2026.
