No. 82494857 dated 24.11.2025 Adequacy of NOC fee One Year Memorandum of Association (MOA): The industry has submitted the Memorandum of Association (MOA) vide which, Smt. Sonika Kanojia and Smt. Veena Kanojia are the directors of the firm. Land Documents: The industry has submitted the sale deed of land in the name of M/s Svanz International Private Limited of total area 04 Bigha 02 Biswe falls in the revenue estate of Village Hassanpur Sub Tehsil Ghanaur, Nabha, District Patiala. Site Suitability: The Project Proponent has submitted the Land Use Classification of total area 04 Bigha 02 Biswe issued vide Memo no. 2314 dated 21.10.2025 by District Town Planner, Patiala, vide which, the proposed site falls in the Industrial Land Use Zone as per the notified Master Plan of Rajpura and is suitable for establishment of Furniture manufacturing industry. Pollution and its measures: The Project Proponent has not proposed to install any boiler/furnace. It has proposed to install a fully enclosed powder coating section/booth, which will be equipped with cyclone separator as APCD to control the fugitive emissions. Further, it has also proposed to install a DG set of capacity 125 KVA, which will be equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height. Further, no trade effluent will be generated from the process, only domestic effluent will be generated, which will be discharged onto land for plantation within the premises after treated through septic tank. Applicability of EIA notification dated 14/9/2006: The project is not covered under the preview of EIA Notification dated 14.09.2006. PWRDA Permission: The industry has mentioned the ground water extraction @ 1 KLD. Considering 30 working days in a month, the ground water extraction will be 30 KL/month. As such, the Project Proponent is not required to obtain permission for abstraction of ground water from PWRDA. Visit: To verify the contents of the application, the site was visited by the undersigned on 02.01.2026 and Smt. Sonika Kanojia, Director was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under: 1. The proposed site falls in the revenue estate of Village Hassanpur Sub Tehsil Ghanaur, Nabha, District Patiala. 2. The industry has started the construction work of boundary walls. 3. The industry has not constructed any industrial shed and has not installed any plant & machinery on the site. 4. M/s Suguna Foods Private Limited Pellet Feed Plant falls within 100 meter radius of the proposed site. Recommendations: In view of the facts mentioned above, if approved, it is recommended Consent to Establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for establishment of Furniture manufacturing industry for manufacturing of Revolving Chair @ 50 Nos/day, Office Chair @ 50 Nos/day, Public Place Seating Chair @ 30 Nos/day, Sofa @ 10 Nos/day, Classroom Desk @ 100 Nos/day, Wooden Table Any Type @ 50 Nos/day, Steel Table @ 50 Nos/day, Table with Metal Legs @ 50 Nos/day, Metal Book Case @ 50 Nos/day, Wooden Book Case @ 50 Nos/day, Slotted Angle Racks @ 100 Nos/day, Compactor @ 10 Nos/day, Modular Drawer Pedestal Industry @ 20 Nos/day, Wooden Almirah/ Wardrobe @ 20 Nos/day, Double side Steel Bookcase @ 25 Nos/day, Metal Almirah @ 30 Nos/day, Metal Bed @ 30 Nos/day, Wooden Bed @ 30 Nos/day, , SS Table @ 20 Nos/day, Auditorium Chair @ 50 Nos/day, Podium @ 50 Nos/day, Newspaper Stand @ 50 Nos/day and SS Storage @ 30 Nos/day may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable conditions and additional conditions that: 1. The industry shall establish its industry in the Khasra Nos. only for which it has obtained Land Use Classification from DTP, Patiala. 2. The industry shall apply for consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before commissioning of the unit. 3. The industry shall install water meter on the submersible pump before commissioning the unit. 4. The industry shall develop the plantation area within the premises of the industry. 5. The industry shall submit the completion certificate of APCD installed at the time of obtaining consent to operate. 6. The industry shall submit the building plan approved from the Competent Authority at the time of obtaining consent to operate. 7. The industry shall obtain NOC of the Board, if it changes any of its product or raw material or enhances its production capacity in future. 8. The industry shall plant trees wherever space is available inside and outside the industry. 9. The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities. 10. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. 11. The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. 12. The industry shall ensure that there is no public nuisance in the area, due to activities of the industry. Competency – SEE
