It is submitted that the industry was visited by office of this office on 06.01.2026 and it was observed that: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit.
2. Trade effluent is collected in one underground PVC tank of capacity 750 liters & about 200 liters effluent was in store during the visit.
3. The trade effluent generated in the industry is lifted by M/s JBR Technologies Limited, Ludhiana. The representative produced only one lifting slip of 300 liters dated 20.12.2025. The last visit of the undersigned took place on 16.12.2025. This made it evident that prior to the visit of the undersigned, the industry was disposing its trade effluent in illegal manner.
4. The industry buys D.M. water from some external source and record of the same has not been maintained separately by the industry till date. Therefore, water balance audit cannot be calculated. The industry did not save any invoice of DM water purchase as they were advised by the undersigned during the last visit.
5. The industry produces waste cutting oil by machining operation that was spilled all around its premises and the remaining is still disposed off into the sewer. The industry did not make any agreement with authorized waste cutting oil handler till date as they were advised by the undersigned during the last visit.
6. The industry was not able to produce any service record of APCD ash and the same is still disposed off in open area. The industry did not make any agreement with authorized APCD ash handler till date as they were advised by the undersigned during the last visit.
7. As per the reply attached by the industry, they have attached the record of the DM water and lifting of trade effluent. However, the same has not been attached in the application form as well as the industry was not able to produce the same during the visit.
8. The industry has installed one D.G. set of capacity 125 KVA with in-adequate stack height.
Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that: -
1. Show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate applied under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry please.
2. Action u/s 33-A under the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 05 of the HWM Rules, 2016 may be initiated against the industry for its closure of the above said violations please.
