The matter was discussed by SEE, ZP-1 and in consideration of the report/ recommendations of RO; if approved, the competent authority be recommended as under: i. Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for short term i.e. 30.06.2026 with suitable conditions and the following additional conditions that: a) The project proponent shall obtain EPR registration under PWM Rules, 2016 within one month. b) The industry shall use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) within its premises and will not use any SUP items banned in accordance with MoEF&CC notification no. G.S.R. 571(E) dated 12.08.2021 c) The industry will carry out stack emission monitoring of wet scrubber from NABL approved lab after restoration of electricity connection and submit report to Board. d) The industry shall not manufacture recycled/ virgin plastic carry bags in any case and shall comply with the provisions of notification no. 05/18/2016 11g4/692717/1 dated 18/02/2016 issued by the Department of Local Govt., Government of Punjab and notification no. S.O.438 /Ρ.Α.9/1994/S30/2016 dated 29/03/2016 issued by the Department of Rural Development & Panchayats, Government of Punjab in letter & spirit. ii.
