It is intimated that earlier the consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted vide online reference no. CTE/Fresh/GRP/2025/28974577 dtd 29/06/2025, which is valid upto 28/06/2026 for the production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 5000 CFT/Day, Washed Sand @ 4000 CFT/Day & Silt @ 500 CFT/Day by using River Bed Material @ 9500 CFT/Day under Orange Category.
Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS mode under Orange Category.
The industry has deposited Rs. 42,500/- vide UTR No. 181684127 dated 30/21/2025 & Rs. 42,000/- vide UTR No. 705817876 dated 01/01/2026 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 197.60 Lacs as on 30/11/2025 and same are adequate upto 30/09/2030 under both Acts.
The industry was visited by officer of this office on 07/01/2026 and compliance of code of practice was observed as under:-
1. The industry is a stone crusher the industry has installed the machinery for crushing of stone and is almost ready to be commissioned.
2. The stone crusher has provided chutes to the end of the conveyor belts.
3. The stone crusher has provided recirculation system for recirculation the washing effluent into the process.
4. The unit has provided wind breaking wall along the boundary, covered the conveyors etc as per Environmental Guidelines prescribed by the CPCB.
5. The stone crusher has provided water sprinklers along the movement area and ramp.
6. The stone crusher has stabilized the approach road with river bed material within the premises and on the ramp.
7. The stone crusher has provided green belt along the boundary, however, same needs to be properly maintained for its proper growth.
The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2030 with suitable along with special conditions :-
1. The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.
2. The stone crusher shall maintain the plantation cover around the periphery so as to comply with the code of practice.
3. The stone crusher shall comply with the new Environmental Guidelines issued by the CPCB for the stone crushing unit.
