A. It is submitted that the industry is small scale green category unit.
B. The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Automotive Component @ 1.0 MTD, Fasteners / Bolts / Nut @ 0.5 MTD and Engineering Component @ 0.5 MTD and domestic effluent @ 0.85 KLD into sewer.
C. The industry has deposited CTO fee of amounting to Rs. 34100/- vide R.no. 267222516 dated 30.12.2025 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 29400/- vide R.no. 806371358 dated 30.12.2025 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 24.04.2031 against the gross fixed assets of Rs. 99.88 lacs/- and plant & machinery of Rs. 14.30 Lacs/- as per the CA certificate dated 18.11.2025.
D. The industry was visited by the office of this office on 06.01.2026 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit.
2. The industry is engaged in manufacturing of Automotive Component, Fasteners/Bolts/Nut and Engineering Component.
3. The industry has installed 02 gas carbonizing furnace and 01 quenching tank of 5000 ltr. capacity.
4. The industry has also installed re-circulation tower of 300 ltr capacity for gas carbonizing furnace.
5. The industry has submitted layout plant approved by the Competent Person.
6. The industry has submitted electricity bill as a proof of date of commissioning i.e., 24.04.2025.
7. The industry is located in designated industrial zone as per Master Plan, Ludhiana i.e. Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana. As such the site is suitable for such type of industry.
As such the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of above it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2030 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
