It is submitted that the stipulated deadline for commissioning of ZLD systems by scattered dyeing units was 31.12.2025. However, the progress achieved by most of the units has not been in accordance with the approved PERT charts. The matter has been examined at the competent level, and directions have been issued by the Competent Authority to adopt a uniform and consistent approach in respect of scattered dyeing units for ZLD commissioning.
In view of the above, it is recommended that, until a uniform decision is finalized regarding the revised timeline for ZLD commissioning, the Consent to Operate application of the industry may be returned, with intimation to the applicant accordingly. |
