It is intimated that the establishment was earlier served notice for refusal of Consent to Establish (NOC) extension under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and issue directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide Board's letter under reference alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing before the worthy CEE(P) of the Board on 29.12.2025. However, the project proponent of the establishment had not attended the personal hearing on the said date and time.
The Competent Authority of the Board has taken a serious view of the matter and decided to give one last opportunity of personal hearing to the establishment before taking further action in the matter.
Accordingly, afforded one last opportunity to the project proponent to appear in person before the worthy CEE(P) of the Board at Punjab Pollution Control Board, Vatavaran Bhawan, Nabha Road, Patiala on 14/01/2025 at 11:00 AM. (copy of notice attached)
It is requested to ensure service of the notice upon the project proponent through special messenger, obtain proper acknowledgment of receipt, and forward the same to this office. The Regional Office shall also ensure the presence of the unit during the hearing and any failure in service of notice or non-attendance of the unit on the plea of non-receipt, and any consequential challenge to the Board’s action, shall be the sole responsibility of the Regional Office.
