Sir, kindly peruse the note of AEE. In addition to the note of AEE, it is submitted that as per the draft Guidelines for Groundwater Extraction and Conservation, 2020, all units granted permission shall undertake rainwater harvesting in their premises and may either store the harvested water for their use or use it for artificial recharge in accordance with the approval/consent of the competent authority and/or the local body.
In this case, the industry is a water polluting unit and as per the Board's office order dated 33908-26 dated 02.10.2025, no trade effluent generating industry, irrespective of category, shall be permitted to carry out groundwater recharge.
