It is intimated that earlier the consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of Clinical Laboratory vide online reference no. CTOW/Renewal/PKT/2023/23427638 & CTOA/Renewal/PKT/2023/23427621 dated 14/09/2023, which were valid upto 31/12/2025 respectively.
Now the HCF has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF.
The HCF has deposited Rs. 5000/- vide UTR No. 844467718 dated 26/12/2025 & Rs. 5000/- vide UTR No. 884348801 dated 24/12/2025 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee and same are adequate upto 31/12/2030.
It is pertinent to mention here that the authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 was granted vide online reference no. BMW/Renewal/PKT/2023/21324464 dated 18/04/2023, which is valid for one time period. Further, the said HCF is situated inside the MC, Pathankot and connected with the MC sewer, which leads to terminal STP of Pathankot (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).
In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for a period upto 31/12/2030 subject to suitable conditions.
