As reported by Regional Office, the project proponent is complying with the provisions of the environmental laws………………………. As proposed by RO, may if approved, the CTO may be granted to the project proponent for one year subject to following additional condition that: 1. The project proponent shall operate its STP regularly and efficiently for achieving the prescribed standards. 2. The housing colony shall dedicatedly maintain the plantation area for disposal of domestic effluent and ensure that there should be no stagnation. 3. The project proponent shall be bound to develop the additional plantation area of 20 Acres for the disposal of surplus water as and when its effluent generation will increase as per the EC condition and shall obtain the prior NOC/Consent from the Board. 4. The residential colony shall maintain proper record regarding waste water generation, treated water discharged into 04 acres 06 kanals land, treated water discharged into parks and green areas and treated water re-used for flushing purpose. 5. The promoter company shall ensure that it complies with the conditions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and a suitable mechanism be created so that it is ensured that even if the project is handed over to the resident welfare Association, the STP is in operation and treated effluent is utilized onto land for plantation as per the EC conditions and the consent conditions. Also, a suitable condition in this regard be imposed while handing over the project to the Resident Welfare Association, in absence of which the agreement for handing over the project to the RWA shall not have any legal validity and the promoter company shall only be responsible for any violation observed thereafter. 6. The promoter company shall obtain amendment in the Environmental Clearance in case it changes its mode of disposal of treated wastewater any time in future. 7. The project proponent shall apply for obtaining fresh consent to establish for expansion of the project beyond the area for which consent is being granted. Competency: Chairperson, PPCB
