Sir, the industry has installed 3 no. electric induction furnaces out of which 1 no. electric induction furnace is standby of capacity 500 Kgs/day and 500 Metric Tonnes/Day respectively with the Bag Filter House as APCD.
The industry has also provided a booth for Gun Spray Painting provided with the water curtain as APCD which is manually operated. The industry generated hazardous waste category of 21.1 (Paint sludge). The industry has made an agreement with Nimbua for disposal of hazardous waste. The industry has advised to apply authorization under Hazardous Wastes (Management Handling & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
The industry has installed separate water meter at fresh water supply and the reading during visit was 815.39 KL. The industry has lastly lifted their effluent on 15-12-2025 i.e. 7500 ltrs (Record attached). Previously the water auditing was erroneously/wrongly mentioned in the agenda note, now the amended agenda is attached here with. The record maintained by the industry regarding water consumption and effluent lifting was verified during the visit and the same was found in consonance.
In view of the above, it is recommended as under the renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30.06.2029 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that the industry shall apply authorization under Hazardous Wastes (Management Handling & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within 1 month.
