After perusal the report of RO, it was observed that the PP has obtained NOC/Consent to Establish with validity upto 24.06.2007 for the establishment of a residential colony in an area of 9.917 acres having 56 no. residential plots, 23 no. commercial plots and 01 nursery school, under the name of Sangrur Valley by M/s Grewal Properties and Real Estate, Nankiana Chowk, Sangrur. Thereafter, the PP has failed to obtain CTE/CTO till date. Now, the PP has applied for obtaining fresh CTO of the Board. The PP has provided common STP of capacity 100 KLD with its sister concern colonies namely M/s Grewal Construction (P) Limited, inside its premises in its own land for the treatment of wastewater generated from the 2 no. residential project namely, Sangrur Valley colony and New Sangrur Valley colony.
Presently, both the colonies have occupied 30 residential plots in each colony. Therefore, the setup of common STP of capacity 100 KLD is adequate to treat the waste water generated from these colony.
If approved, it is recommended that partial consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 for 30 no. residential houses may be granted upto 31.12.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board along with additional condition that:
1. The residential colony shall provide flow meter at the outlet of common STP within 3 days.
2. The PP shall obtain revised CTO of the Board if the occupancy in the residential township shall increase, then the PP shall bound to install full capacity of STP @ 260 KLD before enhanced the occupancy in the residential colony.
