It is intimated that the industry was emitting black smoke as observed by the team officers of the Board on 25.04.2025 during visit. Accordingly the industry was issued Personal Hearing before competent Authority of the Board on 10.09.2025 for violation of Environmental Acts. Thereafter, air emissions of the unit were collected by surprisingly on 03.11.2025 by the PPCB surprise team . As per the result received from the Lab, concentration of SPM was found as 211 mg/Nm3, which is within the limits prescribed by the Board. Therefore the unit is complying the norms of the Board.
Further, there is no addition in water/air polluting machinery. The industry has installed same machinery for which the last CTO granted to it. The industry has developed adequate plantation area as per karnal technology for disposal of trade effluent. Plantation area is dedicatedly maintained and there was no stagnation observed during visit. Boiler ash is being disposed as in filling of low lying land. Lease deed for this area submitted by the unit is also attached herewith.
