it is intimated that earlier personal hearing was given before CEE jal on 5.12.25.Now the site was visited by the officer of this office on 06.01.2026 and observed that the unit was found operational at the time of visit. One No. Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD) was installed along with an ID fan and built-in APCD. Stack height above roof level has been provided.Adequate stack height along with a bag at the end has been provided to the stack attached in the tablet coating area.The unit has executed an agreement with scrap dealer for lifting of aluminium and plastic packaging waste and produced the same during visit. The unit has installed 1 No. 10 KLD ETP for treatment of wastewater and submitted completion certificate. However, effluent sample could not be taken as the ETP was not operational at the time of visit.Separate energy meter and inlet & outlet water meters have been installed with the ETP and the unit has maintained ETP operational records, which were produced during visit.The treated wastewater is being discharged on land after ETP.The unit has approximately 0.5 acre area including plantation and parks, which is sufficient considering only about 1 KLD wastewater is being treated.The unit has installed 1 No. tubewell with water meter and records of the same are being maintained.The unit has 1 No. DG set of 25 kVA; however, the same was found defunct and not in use. The unit has not submitted the New Bank Guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- as an assurance to operate its ETP regularly & efficiently, so as to achieve the prescribed results and comply with Environmental Laws, as directed during the personal hearing held before CEE on 5.12.25.The B.G encashment is under process as discussed with EERO.
In view of above, it is recommended that a Show Cause Notice for refusal of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act,1981 may be issued to the industry with an opportunity of PH before SEE JAL.
