File Note: It is submitted that the project proponent has applied fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Gravure Cylinders with electroplating @ 13200 No./Year under small scale and red category along with requisite documents. The project proponent has submitted CA certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 74.46 lakh. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 34250/- vide R no. 764436323 dated 07.01.2026 under Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 28,350/- vide R no. 790906675 dated 07.01.2026 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. After deduction of NOC regularization fee, penalty fee, the consent fee under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 is adequate till 31.12.2030. The project proponent has submitted electricity bill as proof of date of commissioning, as per which date of connection is 25.10.2025. The project proponent has submitted land use classification certificate issued by DTP vide letter no. 2261 dated 15.12.2025 as per which the site falls under FEZ zone, which is suitable for such type of industry. The project proponent has submitted sale deed executed on 08.07.2025 between Sh. Ravinder Singh and Smt. Muneshwari. Trade Effluent The waste water being generated from the process of manufacturing of Gravure Cylinders, which will be around 120 Ltrs./day. For treatment and disposal of this trade effluent, we have entered into an agreement with M/s Bantech Chanalon for the total quantity of 3000 Ltrs./month. So, there is no requirement of setting up the effluent treatment plant. Domestic Effluent There is a generation of domestic effluent @ 200 Ltrs./day, which will be discharged onto land for plantation after treatment in septic tank. Air Pollution There will be fumes from chrome section. We have provided water scrubber as APCD to control the fumes along with stack of adequate height. The project proponent has submitted with CETP chanalon for lifting of trade effluent @ 3000 ltr/month generated from the industry. The project proponent has submitted approved building plan from the Competent Person approved under Factory Act. The project proponent has submitted manufacturing process as under: MS Vessel – Washing – Copper Salt – Copper – Polish – Transfer of matter and Etching – Chrome – Polish – Final for use The site was visited by undersigned on 08.01.2026 and during visit it was observed as under: 1. The industry has started production of Gravure Cylinders with electroplating process. 2. The project proponent has provided flow meter at the process line and the reading of the same is 11 m3. 3. The industry has provided water scrubber as APCD on chorme section to control the fumes. 4. The industry is involved in electroplating process, an underground waste water storage tank of capacity @10000 ltrs has been provided at the premises. Approximately @ 7500 ltrs of waste water effluent was found stored in the said tank. 5. The industry has lifted effluent @ 3000 ltr to the CETP operator on 29.12.2025 6. The industry has installed 1 no. DG set of capcity 45 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2030 with suitable and additional conditions as under: 1. The industry shall not discharge wastewater in illegal manner at any time. 2. The industry shall maintain the record of wastewater generated and lifted to the CETP and shall submit to the Board. 3. The industry shall ensure that the activity of unit does not create any nuisance in the surrounding areas and no public complaints are received. 4. The industry shall apply for authorization under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within one month. 5. The Consent is being issued to the industry based upon the documents/ information submitted by it along with the online application form. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time. 6. In case the industry fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the industry. *Competency – Senior Environmental Engineer
