Respected Sir, Kindly peruses the note of JEE, as per note, it is submitted that the industry has applied for obtaining CTE for installation of a new induction furnace unit (having one crucible of capacity 2 TPH and another crucible of capacity 01 TPH only). The site falls under Industrial Zone and is suitable as per the report of DTP, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Accordingly, it is recommended that the Fresh CTE under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry with suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall explore the possibility for installation of secondary emission control system in consultation with PSCST, Chandigarh, being a very tiny induction furnace unit only.
