Sub:- Application for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981-M/s Australian Forest Wine Unit, Village Ram Nagar, HB. No. 327, Near Verka Milk Plant, G.T. Road, District-Gurdaspur.
The project proponent has applied for obtaining Consent to Establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for setting up of new hotel comprising 20 rooms at the subject cited site Under Green Category through OCMMS mode.
The industry has deposited Rs. 24000/- vide UTR No. 765917378 dated 26/08/2026 as consent to establish (NOC) fee including Rs. 500/- as form downloading fee against gross value of project worth Rs. 1337.00/- lacs and same is adequate for one-year period.
The Project Proponent has submitted copy of approved building permit/sanction & site plan issued by Municipal Council, Gurdaspur vide letter no. PB/GUR/GURDA/266258 dated 19/08/2025.
The Project Proponent has submitted Feasibility report of proposed STP comprising Screen Chamber > Oil & Grease Trap > Collection Tank > MBBR I & II > Secondary Tube Settler > filter feed tank > Pressure Sand Filter > Activated Carbon Filter > sludge drying beds. Further treated effluent has proposed to discharge into MC sewer after STP.
The site of the proposed project was visited by officer of this office on 07/01/2025 and observed that the proposed site of the hotel is located in opp. Side of Verka Milk Plant, G.T. Road. No civil construction work at the site has started yet.
May if approved:- “Consent to Establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the Project Proponent for one year period subject to the suitable conditions.
