File Note: Kindly peruse the agenda note/ report/ recommendations sent by EE, RO, Patiala. The project is a warehouse and has applied for obtaining consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981… RO has reported that the industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act 1974 and Air Act 1981. In view of above and report/ recommendations sent by, EE, RO, Patiala, if approved, the pp may be granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 31.12.2028 with suitable conditions and following additional conditions: 1. The project proponent shall not carry out any activity in its premise, which can generate any kind of trade effluent from the project. 2. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent from its premises. 3. The project profit shall not carry out any activity in its premises, which is covered under orange or red category. 4. The industry shall generate only domestic effluent and shall discharge the same onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. 5. The pp shall not discharge any effluent at any unauthorized place by any unauthorized means i.e. shall not discharge any wastewater in any drain / inland surface waters / drain/ choe/ nallah/ onto land for stagnation or outside its premises, at any time, under any circumstances. 6. The industry shall keep adequate and appropriate plantation area developed within its premises for disposal of treated waste water, in good conditions, at all times. 7. The adequacy/ efficacy of the pollution control arrangements & disposal scheme/arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the project proponent and the pp shall be bound to implement/ upgrade its pollution control & disposal arrangements as per the discretion of the Board to achieve the prescribed emission/ effluent standards, as amended from time to time. 8. The project has been approved by the Board from pollution angle and the industry shall obtain the statutory clearances/ permissions from all other concerned departments. 9. The project proponent shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time. 10. The consent is being issued to the project proponent based upon the documents/ information submitted by it along with the online application form and during hearing. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry/project proponent and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time, without any opportunity of Personal Hearing. 11. In case the project proponent fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the project proponent.
