A. It is intimated that the industry is a small-scale green category unit.
B. Earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDH4/2024/25659890 dated 03.06.2024 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/LDH4/2024/25659886 dated 03.06.2024, both were valid up to 02.12.2024 under the orange category for manufacturing of KNITTED HOSIERY GOODS @ 3000 Numbers/Day by installing One Baby Boiler @ 0.5 T/HR alongwith Cyclone Separator as APCD and One DG set of capacity 82.5 KVA and trade Effluent @ 7.0 KLD onto 0.2 Acre Land For Plantation After Treating Through Septic Tank Followed By ETP Domestic Effluent @ 0.5 KLD : Onto 0.2 Acre Land For Plantation After Treating Through Septic Tank.
C. Thereafter the industry was obtained auto renewal consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, which were valid upto
D. Now, the industry has applied for obtaining Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of knitted hosiery goods @ 3000 numbers/day and for trade Effluent @ 7.0 KLD onto 0.2 Acre Land For Plantation After Treating Through Septic Tank Followed By ETP Domestic Effluent @ 0.5 KLD onto 0.2 Acre Land For Plantation After Treating Through Septic Tank.
E. The industry has deposited fee amounting to Rs. 86900/-vide R. No. N248232626387944 dated 05.09.2023, Rs. 74200/- vide UTR no. N059221850881336 dated 28.02.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 4220/-vide R.no. 658756235 dated 27.12.2025, Rs. 75600/-vide R. No. N248232626379312 dated 05.09.2023, Rs. 65800/- vide UTR no. N059221850874330 dated 28.02.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 28.02.2034 (after deducting NOC regularization fee and late penalty fee) against the gross fixed assets of Rs. 335.79 lacs and plant & machinery Rs. 192.05 Lacs as per CA certificate date 27.11.2025.
F. The industry was visited by the undersigned on 01.01.2026 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry is engaged in manufacturing of garments and washing of garments.
2. The industry has installed automatic embroidery machines, one washing machine of 30 kg capacity, one tumbler, 3 no steam presses, 2 no flat machines and stitching machines etc for manufacturing of garments.
3. The industry has provided ETP for treatment of wastewater generated from the washing section. The industry has also provided plantation area of 0.2 acre as per karnal technology for discharge of trade effluent after treatment through ETP and is sufficient for discharge of treated effluent @ 7.0 KLD. The effluent sample of the ETP could not be collected due to less generation of effluent.
4. The industry has provided separate water meter and energy meter for the ETP.
5. The industry has provided water meter with the ETP. The industry is maintaining the record of water meter.
6. The domestic effluent is discharge onto land for plantation after treatment through septic tank.
7. The industry has installed one wood fired baby boiler with cyclone separator as APCD.
8. The industry has installed 01 D.G sets of capacity 82.5 with canopy and adequate stack height.
9. The industry has submitted land use classification certificate vide 2185 dated 25.08.2023 from DTP, Ludhiana and as per certificate the site falls in the industrial zone as per approved Master Plan of Ludhiana (2007-2031).
10. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of the above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2030 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
