It is intimated that as per approved building plan of the proposed hotel submitted by the project proponent, total built up area of the proposes site is 1069.181 Sq. mts. Further, as per EIA Notification, 2006 the Building /Construction projects having built-up area ≥20000 sq.mtrs and <1,50,000 sq.mtrs. are required to obtain Environmental Clearance. Therefore, said project is exempted to obtain Environmental Clearance as per EIA Notification, 2006.
The site of proposed hotel falls within the MC limit of MC, Gurdaspur and the site plan of the proposed project is approved from EO, MC, Gurdaspur, accordingly, the proposed site is suitable for setting up of proposed hotel.
