Sir, it is submitted that the industry has neither submitted any feasibility report for installation of Air Pollution Control Devices (APCD) for control of secondary emissions for its existing unit nor for the proposed expansion.
In view of the above, if approved, ZO-II, Patiala may be recommended to refuse the NOC for expansion under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing before the Competent Authority of the Board.
