• It is intimated that the industry is a small scale green category unit.
• The industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 valid upto 18.12.2027 through auto renewal module.
• Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 through OCMMS of the Board for manufacturing of forged steel pipe fittings @ 3420 MT/Year by using MS rounds @ 3840 MT/Year as raw material
• The industry has submitted approved building plan from competent person under Director of factories, act 1948.
• The industry has submitted change of land use certificate issued from STP, Jalandhar vide letter No. 1/CLU/J dated 21.01.2018 for granted permission for manufacturing of rubber, aluminum, steel and plastic goods at site.
• The industry has submitted electricity bill as per proof of date of commissioning with the application.
• The industry was visited by officer of this office on 12.01.2026 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit.
• There is no source of trade effluent generation and only generation of domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation.
• The industry is a small scale green category unit and competency to decide such type of case lies with Environmental Engineer.
Recommendation:- Keeping in view of above, if approved, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and may be granted upto 22.12.2030 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board.
