RO is required to clarify regarding following points:
1. As pre the report of RO, the unit is a restaurant of capacity 76 Seats and has provided applied for CTO for discharge of domestic effluent @ 8 KLD into sewer after passing through Oil and Grease trap. However, the same is not in consonance with the CPCB’s “Mechanism/Guidelines tor Control of Pollution and Enforcement of Environment Norms at Individual Establishinents and the Area/ Cluster of Restaurants/ Hotels/ Motels/ Banquets” issued in 2020. RO is required to clarify regarding the same.
2. In visit report, RO has mentioned that the unit has provided oil & grease trap & then w/w is discharged into sewer. However, in the recommendations section, RO has mentioned that CTO be granted for “discharge of domestic effluent @ 8 KLD onto land for plantation after passing through STP”. Ro needs to clarify this.
3. RO has not mentioned the details regarding suitability of the site for operation of the restaurant at the site and details of any documents submitted by the pp in this regard.
In view of above, if approved, RO may be asked to clarify regarding the abovementioned observations, please.
