File Note: Kindly peruse the note/report/recommendations sent by EE, RO, Roopnagar. The industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) of the Board vide no. CTE/Fresh/RPN/2023/24027182dated 27/12/2023valid upto 07/11/2024for manufacturing of Tractor Parts and Automobile Parts @ 60 MTD by using Iron Scrap @ 75 MTD as raw material, which was further extended upto 12/12/2025 with suitable conditions mentioned therein.. Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.. RO has mentioned that the industry is complying with the provisions of the Environmental Laws… In view of the report/recommendations sent by EE, RO, Patiala, if approved, the industry may be granted fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 upto 31.03.2027, subject to suitable conditions, conditions as imposed by RO and following additional conditions: 1. The industry shall get final completion -cum-adequacy certificate of APCD installed in its premises, from PSCST, within 02 months and shall submit a copy of the same to the Board. 2. The industry shall apply for obtaining authorisation under the HWM Rules, 2016, within 01 month. 3. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent from its premises and shall discharge only domestic effluent onto land for plantation within its premises, after passing through septic tank. 4. The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premises which can change the category of the unit from ORANGE to RED category. 5. The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premises which is covered under the ambit of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006. 6. The adequacy/ efficacy of the pollution control arrangements & disposal scheme/arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the project proponent and the pp shall be bound to implement/ upgrade its pollution control & disposal arrangements as per the discretion of the Board to achieve the prescribed emission/ effluent standards, as amended from time to time. 7. The project has been approved by the Board from pollution angle and the industry shall obtain the statutory clearances/ permissions from all other concerned departments. 8. The project proponent shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time. 9. The consent is being issued to the project proponent based upon the documents/ information submitted by it along with the online application form and during hearing. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry/project proponent and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time, without any opportunity of Personal Hearing. 10. In case the project proponent fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the project proponent.
