It is submitted that show cause notice before refusal of 'consents to operate' under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 has been issued to the project proponent alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer (B) of the Board on 07.01.2026.
Sh. Asim Garg & Dr. Dinesh Bassi attended the hearing on behalf of the project and submitted written reply of show cause notice, which has been taken on record. They submitted that they have mentioned wrong mode of disposal in the application form inadvertently. They further request to return the application so that they can apply with corrected / complete details. They assured to resubmit the complete application with requisite documents, within 15 days.
After hearing the representatives of the project and officer of the Board and the materials facts on record, the Senior Environmental Engineer (B) decided that ;-
1. The incomplete application submitted by the project proponent be returned w.r.t. resubmit the complete application with requisite documents, within 15 days.
2. The Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Bathinda shall process the revised applications to be applied by the PP on merits and shall submit the report with conclusive recommendations in the matter.
