Sir, it is submitted that reply to the above-mentioned observations is as under:
1. Due to non-availability of the Occupational Certificate, the project proponent has not connected to the GMADA terminal sewer. Consequently, the application under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 was returned by PBIP during 2024–2025. The project proponent has informed that, for obtaining the sewer connection, it has already applied for the Occupational Certificate and also requires a valid Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
2. Samples could not be collected during the visit. However, sampling shall be carried out in due course of time.
3. During the visit, the treated wastewater was being used in the green area available within the premises.
4. The project proponent has not yet applied for authorization under the Hazardous Wastes Management Rules, 2016.
Therefore, if approved, it is recommended that:
1. The project proponent shall submit the Occupational Certificate to the Regional Office, Mohali within one month.
2. The project proponent shall obtain authorization under the Hazardous Wastes Management Rules, 2016, immediately.
