It is intimated that a copy of the Show Cause Notice (SCN) issued to the project proponent/industry was duly endorsed to the Regional Office (RO) with directions to ensure service of the notice upon the project proponent through a special messenger, obtain proper acknowledgment of receipt, and forward the same to this office. However, the note submitted by the RO does not enclose the acknowledgment of receipt of the said notice.
It is requested to attach the acknowledgment of receipt obtained from the representative of the project proponent/industry. This is essential to ensure that, in the event of non‑attendance of the project proponent/industry during the hearing, the Board may proceed to take further necessary action in accordance with law.
