Sir the Dental Institute has installed ETP cum STP of capacity 50 KLD . As per the water meter record maintained by the entity the present maximum/ day discharge is 30 KLD approx. as such the project is having sufficient buffer to accommodate the discharge from 80 dental chairs and 30 no beds in sister concerned unit of hospital. As per the last water sampling conducted on 05.01.2023 the Results were PH = 7.8; Total Suspended Solids (mg/L) = 44; Total Dissolved Solids (mg/L) = 635 Chemical Oxygen Demand (mg/L) = 90; Bio-Chemical Oxygen Demand (mg/L) = 19; Oil & Greese = BDL; Bio Assay = 90% survival of fish after 96 hours in 100% effluent. As per the Analysis report all the parameters were within the prescribed limit. The institute cum dental college has submitted the building plan approved from then gram panchayat Faridkot vide no.13 dated 24.12.1997 since the given site was lying under jurisdiction of Gram Panchayat at the time of establishment. There is no Air polluting industry within the radius of 100m and no Hazardous(Maximum Accident Hazard) industry within 250m. The institute cum dental college has not submitted any site suitability certificate from the MC authorities as the given site lies in the MC limit now. Furthur the master plan for Faridkot tehsil lying in District Faridkot has not been notified yet. Since The institute cum dental college has not submitted any site suitability certificate, If approved, may the SCN be issued to the institute cum Dental college for violating the provisions of Water Act,1974 and Air Act,1981. |
