The industry has been given personal hearing for violation under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the CEE(B) on 22/01/2026 (copy enclosed).
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Regional Office has recommended to grant consent to operate under the provision of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of MS Ingots Castings of Iron and Steel @ 168 Metric Tonnes/Day, Runner Risers @ 6 Metric Tonnes/Day Or Concast Billets (CCM) @ 168 Metric Tonnes/Day Or Bars & TMT Angles, Channels, Flats, Joists & Rolled Product (Rolling Mill Unit) @ 168 Metric Tonnes/Day may be granted upto 30/09/2029 with suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall bound to comply with the decisions of personal hearing held before the CEE(B) on 22.01.2026.
Since, the hearing is to be held on 22/01/2026 before the CEE(B), if approved, Regional Office be asked to kept the application in abeyance, till date of hearing and further decision to be taken on the application shall be decided in the hearing, pl.
